First the list that I ended up running this past weekend.
Imotekh the Stormlord
Orikan the Diviner
Royal Court
-Harbinger of Transmogrification x4
-Harbinger of destruction w/ solar pulse
-Lord w/ warscythe, mindshackle scarabs, resurrection orb
C’Tan Shard w/ Writhing Worldscape, Gaze of Death
5 units of Warriors x5
1 unit of warriors x8
Canoptek Scarabs x8
3 Annihilation Barge w/ tesla cannons
So the gist of the list is as follows. On turn one everything is difficult terrain, forcing your opponent to take dangerous terrain tests with each move because of writhing worldscape. After turn 1, I would keep targeted limitations using the tremor staff on the harbingers of transmogrification, which makes any unit you hit move through difficult terrain through the next turn. Overall, I think that the list was fun to play and enjoyable, but it lacks heavy killing power. I am considering making room for wraiths because they are very hard hitting and would give me a bit more mobility.
The unit that had most of my command in it did very well in close combat all games. I think that I will be switching to using gauss cannons for a few reasons, but I feel I am lacking solid ways to deal with heavy armor, which is a bad thing to me, and it has a low enough AP to be a marine killer.
I guess the ultimate questions are as follow, should I try and fit in wraiths, would the bring me anything that I am currently lacking? Are canoptek spiders really worth it? I had them do okay in only one game, but most of the time they where for a tar pit. Any other ideas as well?

With so many Warriors, no Ghost Ark love? You just trying to avoid building one?
Also, no Immortals, why?

I have found I like troop choices a lot more, and although I would love to fit a Ghost Ark in, I just don’t have the points for it currently. I may add one in the future, but with my DKOK project going and this one, no need to add that to the list as well, and building them is a bitch.
I like Immortals, but also not really serving my purpose. I may consider switching them out at some point, but for now warriors are doing well for me and I will keep it that way.
FYI, a few of us will be at TT on Thursday night to play if you wish to join us.

That makes sense. You really got to commit to the shooty/difficult terrain with your list.
Sadly, I won’t be able to come out Thursday since I have my school’s LEGO robotics club on Thursday.
