A few friends and myself have been talking a bit about going to Adepticon in the spring and playing the team event, the problem is we have 3 of us who would defiantly go, a handful of people we would want to bring for the 3rd spot, and each of us play different armies. We …

Chapterhouse Salamanders Rhino Kit
A few weeks ago I thought I would order a couple of the Chapterhouse Salamanders rhino kits for my force. I finally got them in last week and I decided to put them on and see how they look. Overall, they look good, but there are some areas that were lacking. The pieces that fit …

Project Log: Finished Master of the Forge with Conversion Beamer
I took some time away from an event I was judging to finish this guy up. As I spoke about before, he is using the chapterhouse conversion beamer kit. I must say I was very impressed with the details that it had and how well it was put together. It made it I decided to …

Cyclone missile launchers, the cheap way
This is not really a tutorial but more a discussion on this. I was in need of some cyclone missile launchers and thought that the typhoons would work well as a stand-in, but they needed some major modifications in order to make them look right on the models. You will see fairly quickly that I …

MK3 Tac Marines
More project work today. These are a combination of items. Forgeworld MK3 iron armor, Chapterhouse Heresy helmates, Forgeworld heresy bolters. I did not really do a ton of custom work beyond some kit bashing, but I think that it all looks well together. I think that they turned out really well. I am in the …

Techmarine with conversion beamer
I ended up ordering the conversion beamer kit from Chapterhouse a week ago, and I got it last night. I think it looks great on my custom master of the forge. He really looks nice and menacing. I should be able to get him out on the table here soon to give him a go.

I ended up over at a friends house last night and I was able to pick up a couple of things I have been looking for. Both are oldies, and I know I could have gotten 1 of them several times, but I did not want to pay the price they were going for on …

Updated some previous work
I made a few changes to the first dread I did for the salamanders. I had someone comment on adding something to the arms and I thought it was a great suggestion. So below is what came out of it all. Nothing to special, but it breaks up the green on the arms a fair …
